About Me

Sarah Roszell (b. 2004) is an oil painter from Southeastern Indiana. Her practice is rooted in personal experiences with Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), family dynamics, and chronic illness (Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome). Roszell is constantly inspired by the struggles of life and the strength of others. She aims to advocate for and create a community of those who share her experiences.

Roszell received her BFA degree in Painting from Northern Kentucky University in May of 2026. She exhibited at Northern Kentucky University’s 3rd floor Gallery, Student Juried Art Exhibition (2025, 2023). Roszell has also shown in the Greater Cincinnati region in exhibits like Journey of Healing: The Trauma-Informed Power of Art held at the Contemporary Arts Center (OH), and twice with SOS Art shown at the Art Academy of Cincinnati (OH).
